Our AUS (Automated Underwriting System) Support Department works with internal salespeople and external broker customers through several avenues. The AUS Help Desk is available via a toll-free phone line to SunTrust Mortgage employees as well as broker customers. Account executives who have come from competitive mortgage companies typically consider this Help Desk to be a valuable point of difference that translates into less paperwork, faster processing, and quicker closings. Among its responsibilities:
Monthly AUS teleconferences provide updates on automated underwriting issues, news of upcoming events, and a forum to ask questions and share ideas and problems. Ongoing training is conducted via teleconference on AUS-eligible products and other related topics, such as expanded approval or the property inspection waiver/no appraisal option. Sales force information is communicated through "AUS Flashes" covering such topics as product updates and underwriting issues, available by fax or online at our business partner Web site, STMPartners.com. Personalized solutions can result from AUS Support
staff members working with internal staff or with customers as requested. |
